Biskut Raya Derhaka!

I am working in Selangor, so today is a public holiday. Yeay :).

Bestnya duduk rumah after weekend yang penuh. We painted our main entrance door to white. I know the risks sebab akan hitam kat tombol but I don't care. Saw few neighbors painted their door with brown color, cantik tapi tak minat.

Then teman my sis mencari tilam terbest dengan bajet paling ciput. We went to Mattress Factory Outlet @ Seksyen 19 PJ. Check out their website here.  Penat but yang bestnya there's one Chaise Lounge red in color yang sangat best for only RM1,399.00. Tapi sebab rumah-ku-kecil-tak-sesuai-konsep, makanya husband kata lain kali.

Now I am baking cookies. Buttery Chocolate Chip Cookies. Baru siap 1 tray yang hanya boleh muat 9 cookies sahaja. Oven-kecil-sesuai-dengan-konsep-rumah-ku-kecil. Hahaha. But bersyukur sebab kalau gabak sangat, mana mau simpan? Takkan nak letak sebagai centre-piece? Hehehe.

Actually nak habiskan chocolate chips yang dah nak expire. Same goes to butter. But nak buat biskut yang senang, malas nak yang ada banyak bahan dan steps. So google dan terjumpa this recipe from Betty Crocker.

It has been a while since I bake. So tak sure whether the skill is there or has been taken over by alien name LAZYNESS.

Dah 2 tray bakar, first one keseng sikit bawahnya. Ala tergaring sikit aka hangus. 2nd tray pulak macam putih aje.

Ni tengah 3rd tray.

Here's the recipe: Buttery Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 1/2
cups butter or margarine, softened
1 1/4
cups granulated sugar
1 1/4
cups packed brown sugar
1
tablespoon vanilla
2
eggs
4
cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
2
teaspoons baking soda
1
teaspoon salt
1
package (24 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips (4 cups)

  • 1Heat oven to 350ºF. Mix butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs in large bowl using spoon. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • 2Drop dough by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack; cool.

  • P/s:  I adjust sikit the recipe. Instead of 4 cups of chocolate chips, I buat 1 cup white choc chips, 1 cup of almond nibs and 2 cups of choc chips.
